Panera Strawberry Poppyseed Salad with Chicken


Full 16oz salad had 280 cal, 8g fat and 5g fiber POINTS value: 5
I love when it's strawberry season and I can order this salad at Panera. It is so good yet so low on points. Today I ordered 1/2 salad, and onion soup with the cheese and croutons. I figure my lunch was approx. 7 points with the bite of french roll I had too. :)

Another eating out option!

When dining at Island's make sure to check out their bikini menu. They have 4 "lighter" options. Today I tried the sleek greek salad and really liked it. I would recommend not going in overly hungry. While it's something I'd order again, it is lighter and not overly filling.

Sleek Greek Salad™ (341 Calories, 16.6 fat, 5 fiber= 7 pts!)
A half-sized salad w/ grilled & chilled chicken breast, hearts of romaine, kalamata
olives, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers,& red onion tossed w/ our own low fat balsamic vinaigrette )

Corner Bakery: Uptown turkey on harvest bread

My sandwich looked better than these! I didn't take a picture of mine though.

Weekend lunch: Corner Bakery-Uptown turkey on toasted harvest bread. "A delicious combination of hickory smoked turkey breast, crisp applewood smoked bacon, sliced avocado, leaf lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise." It was so good. (I asked for no mayo. and I'm sure that cuts the points atleast half? :) j/k!
I wasn't sure what the points were and ordered blindly. Luckily, when I went home and researched it, I was only set back about 12 points. Not bad for a meal I felt totally indulged by! I know that's typically a lot for one meal but it's almost 6:00pm and I'm still full from my noontime lunch! Will definitely order that again. Maybe 1/2 order next time with soup?

What's your favorite fast food? (ww friendly, of course! :)

Subway-several subs under 6 pts. My favorite: turkey with no cheese, easy, light mayo and all the veggies. Mmmm!

Chik-fil-a My Favorite: Chargrilled chicken sandwich = 5 pts Or the chicken nuggets are 8 for only 6 ww pts!

Panera

Soup lovers? Salad Lovers? You're going to like Panera.

Panera's french onion soup-(with the cheese and croutons!!)has a ww pts value of 4! I love this soup. Pair it with a whole grain baguette or french baguette(both 3 pts.) If you're going for dinner or are really hungry go for the soup and sandwich combo and only eat half the half sandwich. You decide how to make it work but lots of good options. Check out your Panera options at dietfacts.com. Chicken Noodle soup= 2 ww pts. Also, check out the seasonal salads. Often an extremely low points value!
